NewsTrust Buttons For Your Wordpress Site  

If you use WordPress for your site, use this platform-specific script:

This link opens a separate NewsTrust pop-up window, which displays our posting and review forms. If a story URL has already been posted in our database, we take you directly to our review form.

You will want to add this to your templates according to your own design needs. You will want to change the name of the blog, and change the URL being pointed to for the NewsTrust image.

To do this, you need to be able to change your template, which isn't an option for people who are having their blogs hosted by Wordpress.com.

The parameters story_type, publication type, publication name and unlisted publication name should simply be set to defaults for your site. Note, if your site is listed on NewsTrust use that for publication name and omit the unlisted publication name.

You may also want to add code to include part of your story as the story_quote parameter.

By putting all of this together into a single line, you should get a good link for reviewing stories in NewsTrust. Place the line in the template or templates related to where you want the link.

If you have good technical skills, you're welcome to customize these scripts as needed. But please keep calls to our server to a minimum.
