A story emphasizing Bush administration interference with the scientific work of the Surgeon General would be better if not started with a photograph saying that three Surgeons General felt political pressure, which gives an inaccurate overview of the story, which would also have been more powerful and covered a bigger picture if it had mentioned Bush administration interference with other aspects of science. Still, it is a good story, though not great.
