I like the style of this piece, providing a guide format makes navigating this legislation easier. That said, I think the context provided needs some work. The Democrats are under extreme pressure from core party constituents to accomplish something meaningful in terms of ending the war. The piece alludes to public support for the war waning, but doesn't site polls that show the extent of discontent in both parties - therefore the balance of the piece is lacking.
