Another example of the state of a (local) print news medium that hasn't got anything really informative to write, so it prints a hollow and biased story about how the new terribly scary and clever powerhouse political strategist in the Bush White House is beginning to give the opposition the business. Take notice the Karl Rove has gone into hiding, trying to avoid a Congressional whipping. But he won't be able to avoid a courtroom testimony when the Plame civil lawsuit comes around - - whether Bush's term has expired or not. The Republicans and the White House have commited so many crimes and incrediblely stupid mistakes that they realise, finally, that they are in desperate trouble. So they hire another Bush lackey to stir up the water. Of course, you may depend on the Phoenix Bush sycophants to build it up as a big deal. If Gillespie is as (in)competent as the rest of Bush administration losers, they are only treating water until 2008 no matter what he says. Once again the Phoenix Examiner prints a pathetic attempt to paint a hopeful picture for the Republicans, but gives us only window dressing because that's all it has to give.
