Process or Symbol?

Further research would be required to confirm Lewis' assertion that the media basically snubbed coverage of this new monument in Washington (see related story links below for more info). The story achieves its goal as it makes me curious to know if this was a mass conspiracy by "the media" (read the left wing media - Lewis' implication not mine) to ignore Bush's ceremony or simply a story that was lost in the reverb of the possibly more important stories of the day. The topic of media bias is an important one never the less and I found the information about current architectural theory on monuments interesting.
