Stein reports on the report. Unanswered questions abound. If the health insurance reform passes and coverage is mandated, does this mean consumers could not walk away? Is the proposed public option strong enough to counter the monopolistic predatory insurance companies?

Health insurance reform should eliminate health insurance corporations by instituting single payer.

I came away from this article thinking: 1. It makes a good case for having government provide a competitor to insurance companies, and 2. that employer groups of insurance purchasers are very close to giving up on health care reform (i.e. a victory for the repubs).
