Going back to the origins of the State of Israel, when its founders made extremely biased statements against the Palestinians, whose land they claimed as their own, would make the pretty-big picture shown here even bigger, as would mentioning that Israel is not only taking Palestinian land on the West Bank, but also the vast majority of the scarce water resources, and are making access to Palestinian land in the West Bank difficult for its Palestinian owners. Very good story, but it could have been more emphatic. It's too bad that the US essentially only heard the Israeli viewpoint until fairly recently, and the recent change is good.
