Depressing blame the victim piece. Author cherry picks American history looking for bad stuff, and totally omitting the good things. America created democracy, freed the slaves, created a free market economy that made its citizens wealthy, crushed the Nazis, went to the moon, and prevented nuclear war with the Soviets. I'm proud of these accomplishments, and I have a right to wave my flag, and sing patriotic songs, especially on the 4th of July.
