Another attack on "pork", currently one of the pet peeves on the right side of the blogosphere. This post is very well sourced and accurate. But they go over the top in implying this pork is roughly equal to padding a payroll or expense account. They cite no evidence that the money will go to any greater waste than the funds government directs to any other "study" or "minority development commission". I'm underwhelmed by the horror that $230,000 of our money will be wasted by an earmark -- as opposed to wasted by a solemn vote of Congress. Big difference!
