There's a counterpoint narrative to this story: Fox News reports that "The View" hosts were much more aggressive in their questions to Ann Romney than they were to President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Link attached to this review.

I found this quite an extraordinary piece of reporting. Laura Gottesdiener filing a piece to AlterNet on Ann Romney's appearance on "The View" which describes the now controversial comments that her husband and sons' Mormon missionary service is equal to military service. When I first eyed the headline "Onward Mormon Soldiers" I thought that I was most certainly in for a partisan bit of writing. However, as Ms Gottesdiener points out that the questions and assertions by one of the panel, Whoopi Goldberg, were quite out of context while also noting the comments of an Iraq veteran who was rather insulted at the thought. The article was fair and balanced..As Mrs. Romney explained: "So, you know, we find different ways of ... More »
