Summary: The article talks about how there is an increase for same sex marriage to be legalized and how it has decreased for it to be illegal based on the democrat and republican responses in the article, "Two-Thirds of Democrats now Support Gay Marriage." What's New: The article talks about how how in 2008 only half of Democrats favored allowing same sex marriage to be legal and 42 percent opposed of it. Now in 2012 it has nearly jumped to 65 percent and the opposing side has decrease to 29 percent. Balance: The article has a lot of graphs that you can look at and see the difference from 1996 till 2012 and in-between there. It is extremely helpful in figuring out who is apposed for it and who is not. I think this article is a little towards one side because it takes mostly about the increase of same sex marriage to be legal. It is very factual and has good information supporting it. Transparency: The article includes graphs that you can physically see and can relate too and I think that is very helpful because just saying numbers and percentage number doesn't mean too much but when you see it on a graph it makes a big impact.
