Good story by George Monbiot on the global food production and usage scenario, and the impacts it will have on global population. The story that quoted many studies and experts' opinion, is highly informative, enterprising and insightful.

I have a bad feeling that food will soon become the new oil. Prices will rocket, wars will be fought over it, and the weakest will perish. The solution? I honestly don't know, neither, I suspect, does anybody.
