Informative very- when you consider the heath care debate, NPR should mail this article to every member of Congress and the power brokers at the White House. To bad they did not do a side bar on Medicaid.

I know that Medicaid is a joke with no coverage for vision or normal dental but this fantastic article shows just how bad America is; A Third World Nation right here in our back yard, again! What a crime that we allow this to go on. The problem is this is just one little example and thankfully this area takes care of its own, you do not see this in the rest of the country. Self help is great but should not have to be counted on to save lives.
