The piece has some historical background potentially informative to those uninformed of world history. His strangely exalted view of the intentions of George W tend to sully his credibility. The article does not reflect any of the degree to which the predisposition to taking offense is a common aspect of many societies and strongest among the least informed and most associated with authoritarian religious sects that focus on an avenging god above concern for their fellow humans.
