When factcheckers get trigger-happy

Is there such a thing as too much factchecking? Factcheck.org described former President Bill Clinton's speech to the Democratic convention Wednesday evening as a "fact-checker's nightmare" in part because, "with few exceptionsÂ… his stats checked out." Boring recap ...with no meat.

What does a fact checker do? Who does fact checking correctly? Why do 'facts' need to be false to be mentioned... by a so-called "fact checker" ..... reasonable response to could be include concerning the difference between fact and opinion.
