Interesting article from an outside the U.S. opinion with some good statistics. Provided the reader can get past all the local asides that demonstrate the author’s wit as well as providing examples of the author’s points for those who understand the local asides. Which of course, American readers do not.

Europeans love to point out the inadequacies of America's healthcare to their healthcare systems. To wit: Britain spends 10% of GDP to health insure all of its citizens, whilst the U.S. spends approximately 17% and excludes 50 million of its citizens from healthcare.
