A convincing storytelling by Jonathan Watts of The Guardian on China's recent rise as a superpower. Yes, perhaps he's right that the primary driver for change has been the movement of people, i.e., internal migration of workers from the countryside to the cities, and huge investment in infrastructure development. Another Chinese magic for the rise is: 'Criticism has rarely been appreciated.' Highly informative and analytical post before he leaves Chine by this month.
