I have often ended reviews with: “who needs foreign terrorists when we have the right wing here in America?” An accurate question considering the right wing learned much from 9/11. Basically the lesson was that a sufficient number of Americans could be terrorized–and if scare tactics were continually applied–remain terrorized. “Just keep me safe, let me have my toys, and you can take away my privacy, my freedoms and my Democracy” became the mantra. And thus was created the right-wing bogeyman machine with its incessant distortions and falsehoods. What will end the madness is for a majority of Americans to finally become sufficiently outraged to rise up with “ENOUGH!”
