Krugman makes sense in putting forth that the blue dogs make no sense and threaten the success of national democratic politics.
Blue, blue, you bad dogs you! Krugman is too reserved to impugn motives by publicly recognizing that the blue dog doo-doo makes sense if they are all bought off by the big bucks of health and insurance companies.

A “you’ve got to be kidding” article which completely misses the point of the Blue Dogs opposition to universal healthcare. The author may not be cynical, but I am. Why Blue Dog opposition? MONEY! The motivational factor! There is basically no difference between nutcake neocons and Blue Dogs. Neither give a damn about our health, our lives, and are willing to sacrifice whether we live or die for such an important political plum. Both factions have sold us out and are busy raking in outrageous profits from healthcare industry.
