This opinion piece of professor Krugman says that the Americans will see in November whether a majority is yet fully awake to what is happening.

Future rests not with what experts say but in the youth of the country, and this planet. I hope they do not loose youthful idealism to greed.

The article focused on one key issue and moved through a expertly sequenced argumentation, All claims were backed up by facts. The author used facts that are not widely known and pointed out logical fallacies.

Krugman is fantastic and well-informed. My only concern with him is that he does not acknowledge competing viewpoints at all - he simply dismisses them out of hand without even remotely examining the real reasoning behind it. However, that's more of a general complaint, and not specific to this article.
