If you are raising a young child, I strongly recommend you to give him/her a bilingual education. Our son went to the French-American International School in San Francisco -- where they were taught in French for the first few years -- and benefited immensely from this immersive exposure to another language. This article is an example of good journalism, because, even though it is an opinion piece, it is not biased. It gives many factual and relevant sources, as well as embedded links to support the claim. Reading this taught me that being bilingual opens up the brain to many different worlds, and it makes bilingual people more on their toes because they are used to do the same thing in different ways.

I think this is a good example of journalism because it is different than most of the stores you see today. I like the use of studies in the article and I think the topic is very interesting.
