Robert Reich, once again gets it right when he scoffs at the argument about the size of government and asks the much more relevant question of who should the government represent? He then proceeds to give a litany of examples that show the current civil institutions are are dominated by corporate special interests.

Like the notorious cowbird that lays is eggs in the nest of smaller species which risk extinction, many of the 1% are true parasites who not only don't contribute to society, but actively harass the productive members of the population and take away their means of livelyhood. Much of the harping about welfare for the poor is simply a way of diverting attention from the insidious greed of corporate welfare
