I'm sorry - Obama's foreign policy creeps me out

I have no preference whatsoever between the various Democratic candidates. So this is not a hit job to help another contender. Just my reactions - as a foreigner - to his latest big article on the topic of foreign policy. If anything, this is anti-American rather than anti-Obama. See my comments below on Romney's parallel article. Full Story »

An excellent exegesis on Barack Obama's current article on foreign policy in Foreign Affairs, from a self-described 'foreigner" writing on the liberal political activist blog Daily Kos, who concludes that "Obama sounds just like a hawk - maybe a more competent version of Bush."

Interesting journey through Obama's foreign policy. I am drawn the the man and his charisma, but charisma can be a dangerous thing his policies and priorities are not right. The article limits itself to Obama and does not compare the good and bad aspects of the other candidates. Even if he is trying to out-flank Clinton on the right, it makes him sound very dangerous.

Extremely selective quotes make me deeply doubt Paris' claim of no ulterior motive. Or perhaps he is understandably shell-shocked by Republican America, where "leadership" does indeed always mean bombs, shooting, and torture. And yeah, that's creepy.
