There must me some form of "punishment" for breaking the law and entering this country illegally. The only fair and balanced punishment is one that directly relates to the reasons for coming to this country and should have some monetary penalty as well. Lacking in facts and the ability to construct a logical paragraph. There are much better-written and sourced articles available that espouse a similar point of view.

The author suggests that the U.S. government should establish a huge and most likely unworkable bureaucracy to register, process, and "punish" Mexican immigrant workers while sealing the border, deporting all unregistered and/or unemployed illegal immigrants, and strictly regulating (somehow) registered immigrants' freedom of movement within the U.S.
