A fast-paced montage of reactions from public broadcasters around the world to the recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Includes some interesting graphs of public attitudes in countries like China, India or Russia, where awareness of global warming is much lower than Europe or the U.S. The narration makes strong assertions about the certainty of global warming ("scientists concur that it's indisputable"), but no opposing views are provided (for example, what are the positions of countries like India or China?). Overall, this quick report is a good introduction to global attitudes towards the issue, but a bit short on substance; only the global poll data was new information for me. It would be great ...
