This story jumps to a conclusion on the Mexican election in the 2nd paragraph: "It would not be the first time that the Commercial Media has been wrong." Other than this lack of neutrality, the story does a good job of bringing in facts, even quoting the Mexican Constitution and showing pictures of election documents. Overall this is a news/analysis/opinion piece, not a combination we usually see. Since Greg Palast independently comes to very similar conclusions, I trust this story more than I would normally trust the source.

In the context of pre-election reporting on the Zapatista Other Campaign from Narco News, a very complete piece. It does provide all viewpoints, allthough not in the formally objective style. The fact that it, almost alone out of many incorrect stories in the establishment media, properly defined a recount as counting the votes again in public (which has not happened yet), and not simply adding up the 130,000 already-counted individual totals, earns it top ranks.
