While every bullet point in this piece appeals to my personal political perspective, the way this is presented comes off as political dogma and I believe weakens its journalistic merit. My personal feelings aside, I don't think this polarizing article does much good for anyone. I will vote for the Presidential candidate and Congressional candidates who best address these issues and many, many others and let history judge Mr. Bush. Staring into the darkness doesn't bring the light.

BDS at its most virulent. Story takes the "progressive" (read lunatic left) position on everything. Bush is to blame for all the ills in the world. Nothing new, nothing of value and one reason newspapers are in economic trouble. No critical thinking skills required.

Tristam writes an essay that captures the details of demise and reflects the resulting mood around the country from six years of dark policies. I reserve to differ on his excepting of Bush trade policy as perhaps ok, given the job outsourcing and the empoverishing of farmers and workers in trading countries, while enriching corporations. But that did start in an earlier administration.

nothing new just the bald unvarnished truth starkly expressed about the worst pres the US has ever known. Far wide of a through exposay, completely miss'es the felonious reinterpretation of the constitution in many important ways .
