the sources in this story include citizens from helmand leaving their home, british military in the province, the afghan refugee affairs dept in the province and others. there are no sources which contradict the sense that citizens are anticipating a positive outcome in this test case for the new strategy for afghanistan

how sad it is to have even a very small understanding of the hardships of having a war to counter the hardships of losing your autonomy to those who want more power. this doesn't even cover the death toll caused from either side.
