Nothing new here. Colleges are terribly racist and it wasn't 100 years ago that they discriminated against Jews. Harvard discriminated in the 60's. The like blacks and Hispanics and dislike Asians. Old fashioned racism.

Berkeley was caught red handed discriminating against Asians about 15 years ago. They promised to stop but who believes the biggest liars in the world - college admissions officers. They get away with rank racism for some reason.
