The most thorough analysis I've seen on this stinging high-profile feud. Dershowitz is mustering all his clout to get Finkelstein's tenure denied. He even wrote a recent op-ed about it in the WSJ. I've been following this closely from both sides and this looks like character assassination. Dershowitz says Finkelstein makes ad hominems, but Dershowitz seems to be the one really doing that since his insults aren't even backed up by any argument about the content of Finkelstein's work, which is highly regarded.
