A good interview that clarified many of the objectives of NewsTrust/Truthsquad in my mind. Although I have disagreed with Fabrice on specific issues in the past, he has always been fair-minded and the Durbin exercise he cites here is a good example(although I would have preferred a "mostly true"verdict). I also like what he said about"shades of gray".

I understand the crowdsourcing concept better now and see how it can distinguish Truthsquad from Politifact and FactCheck.

Good story, backed by interview of the ED of NewsTrust, on the NewsTrust's effort on fact-checking in the backdrop of the upcoming US prsidential election. The story elaborates the history and processes and engagement of the Truthsquad, the pilot for factchecking. We're hopeful to see a better factchecking effort to be successful.
