This seems like a story which can be scary to some readers, and encouraging to others. We have read/heard so often over the years of conservative groups with real influence in the congress and white house, and now we're hearing/seeing of those who desire to influence those of power on the other side of the issues. The emphasis on speaking with one voice is both the strength and the weakness for either side of that divide as there is always in reasonable people multiple places on the spectrum. The conservative coalitions have shown that one voice with little dissent does work. What happens when it must come to an end seems to be the question. elections?

A simple search shows this is a massive PR effort mixed with state and community activity to appear to be a grassroots movement sweeping the nation when in fact it is simply astroturfing by seasoned liberal activists. The real story was either missed or ignored.
