This eulogy for the NewStandard raises worthwhile questions, and its findings are informative. We're glad that NewStandard tried and are sorry to see them go. RIP, NewStandard. I wish Steve Anderson had included examples of news stories that NewStandard broke. Otherwise, well written.

No sources are listed in the eulogy to a publication that ceased business. The writer showers accolades on the dead publication, the perseverance of the staff, and the hardships they overcame to publish. However we never learn why in the writer's opinion this publication died.
