You can Stop War

We stopped the Vietnam war, purportedly with two pictures, Execution by Eddie Adams, and Nick Út's photo of a naked girl running with her clothes burned off by napalm. We were so outraged by these photos that we pressured our government to get out of Vietnam. Full Story »

The basic primace would appear to be in error, we left Vietnam not because of the media, burt in spite of it. Returning soldiers/sailors and airmen that spoke out about the the war were called traitors and worse in the media, the mainstream media toed the goverment line until after the fall of Saigon.

The War was lost by 1969 yet we did not leave until the communist overran Saigon.
