This is an opinion piece, with which I don't agree, but which I submit because it provides interpretation of facts and arguments from a different viewpoint. I believe those who can effect universal health care need to consider varied statistics and alternatives to come up with a workable solution. The author's solution could indeed be one part of 'universal health care,' which he dismisses as meaning 'single payer.'
