Moyers hammers the media for 'Buying the War' in Iraq

Journalists were "shocked and traumatized by the atrocities of 9/11, of people hurling themselves out of 50-story windows in the World Trade Center," PBS newsman Bill Moyers says. "Their natural response was to rally around the troops, make sure the commander-in-chief got the perpetrators."
But that led most news organizations to "suspend their skepticism" of an administration bent on war in Iraq, he says, and that contributed to the "great ... Full Story »

The article holds promise for the truthtelling of the full program and it's exploration of how the media controlled by big media and rich executives were cheerleaders for the war and ignored the plentiful evidence at the time that the reasons for war were lies. The movie about "Independent Media in a Time of War" would be good to preview if you have not seen it yet (available on google).

This is a recap of another news outlet's material without any additional reporting. It's essentially a commercial for the program with a couple of asides thrown in. There is no comment about the content of the show from any voices, especially from contrary or otherwise enlightening voices. There is no information except a preview of what the show will tell us.

Now we need Bill Moyers to goa bit deeper into the 9/11 attacks. I would suggest that he begin with him (and his research staff) reading the following books:THE NEW PEARL HARBOR by David Ray Griffin; THE 9/11 COMMISSION REPORT - OMISSIONS AND DISTORTIONS by David Ray Griffin; 9/11 AND AMERICAN EMPIRE -INTELLECTUALS SPEAK OUT, edit. by Peter Dale Scott and David Ray Griffin, and CHRISTIAN FAITH AND THE TRUTH BEHIND 9/11. These books are well documented and raise many questions which still further investigation - - by unbiased researchers with subpeona power!
