All politics with almost no economic analysis to evaluate whether any of the posturing supports rational policy.

Posing as a traitor to your base in order to try to lure the regressives to look like traitors to their base seems like a baseless strategy. The regressives tried to paint Obama as a dangerous liberal, and it turns out he is a worse repugnantcon than even Clinton.
