In the following example Greenhouse sets the political and emotional environment and explains the history of terminology all without resorting to bland, grand statements of fact. "By indendifying the intact procedure and giving it the provocative lable 'partial birth abortion,' the movement turned the public focus of the abortion debate fromthe rights of women to the fate of fetuses."
