"Human evolution: the long, winding road to modern man" is an interesting article of scientific debate because it not only discusses evolution, but where our human species evolved from in the world. This article doesn't touch upon the issue of religion vs. science in the "origin" debate, but it talks about the controversy of where our features that are specific to humans came from-where are we from and where did we evolve. The author does touch upon the "to be sure" and says that forty years ago no one thought humans could have originated in Africa, but he then quickly attributes that to lingering racism and lack of scientific evidence- and then continues to support his point that he believes humans probably originated from ...
