Novell ditches top execs

The board of Novell has dismissed two top executives, including chief executive Jack Messman,as part of a management shake-up at the software and networking firm.

This is a big story for the business world because of Novell's once dominant position in the networking world and its decision to put major support behind the Linux operating system. The transition has not been easy, as the story asserts and investors have been nervous. The story could have been better sourced but is strong overall. As this is breaking news, I'm sure there will be follow-ups.
