On Health Care, Bipartisanship without Compromise?

The big news of the day is the letter sent by a "gang" of six "bipartisan" senators (there was a sale on scare quotes at Target today) urging Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell (and by implication, the White House) that "taking additional time" on health care would be advisable. The implication that there is anything the least bit liberal in the "more radical restructuring of the health insurance system" proposed by Wyden's Healthy Americans Act is easily debunked ONLY by reading the link.

This is at least part of the reason I am not a fan of blogs. In this case it is one person’s opinion with little to no sources. This is simply not journalism. It lacks quality control that is a bell weather of good journalism.
