There may be a lot of truth in the charges made in this opinion piece, but the lack of source material renders the writer's opinion not much more than a rant.

Makes some good points....no surprises on the subject of hubris..

..neglects to name names.....or expand on the idea US gov fears of democracy in 3rd world! or media's culpability.
