While covering the widest margins of opinion on recent funding for the war, this piece largely ignores the opinions of the center.

A fairly balanced piece. I do think that when drawing a historical comparison as the author does, he needs to be extra careful to qualify the comparison by highlighting the differences between the situations. He does this, but perhaps not enough.
