The author makes a well reasoned argument for the citizens in our country who believe we should have never gone into Iraq to stand firmly against political pressure to accept "what we can get". While the politicians in DC have to play the political game, we citizens don't, and history shows that we shouldn't. Excellent opinion piece regardless of one's view on the subject.
