I really feel that this story is considered good journalism because I was engaged the whole time reading. This is exactly what you have to do now days to keep an audience. I was not familiar with William Donald Schaefer until reading this article and it really painted a great picture of him and his qualities for me. I feel the article transitioned easily and powerful quotes were incorporated within.

It is truly an unfortunate event of his death because he was a big part of the Baltimore, Maryland community. This article was very respectful.

“Schaefer was his own person. He brought attention to the city. He used all of his personality not just the tough side but he used the soft side and the funny side to benefit the city.”

I feel that it was truly appropriate to have the current mayor give her views on Mr. Schaefer. It was done well. This is a great piece of work. It shows that writing this took time and dedication.
