This is excellent journalism, and not because almost everything I have recently thought about the present Democratic party comes into it, but because it puts into ecellent language the facts. I could never have worded it as well. I had been feeling depressed because all my hopes for total changes seemed to have fallen short. Democrats are too whimpy and as the writers state "investigative oversight...has to be matched with more garden variety oversight of programs". We MUST DEMAND THIS from our elected officials.
