I rarely *ever* watch, or listen, to audio-visual news segments. I find them difficult to understand! English was my first language, yet it makes *no difference* in my ability to follow. I'd prefer a transcript, if I had to make a choice! Very few multi-media news add-on's are worthwhile for me. Perhaps people with better social skills, who can infer meaning from the interviewer interactions, get more insight. It is so much easier for me to read something, reread the parts I don't understand, think, maybe do it again. Not easy with audiovisuals! But I concede AV brings the flavor of television news broadcasting. Many people, myself included, enjoy that aspect. I rarely hear such sentiments as in your review: *_I find the all the audio and video chats_* *_without a transcript not easy to understand_* so that's why I left this lengthy note here, to let you know that I feel the same way!
