On Global Warming

should I drive a huge, empty car many miles when doing so will help flood Bangladesh, merely because the comfy leather seats are right here where I can see them, and the dead future Bangladeshis aren't? . . . this is a question that seemingly only has one right answer. I say this as one who is conscious that I could use less electricity, and should, and am trying to but not as hard as morality should require. But I digress. Full Story »

I think she raises a good point about human nature - wait to be rescued because you can just sense a hero waiting in the wings to figure it all out. People are still around and thriving so maybe there is something to that strategy.

While the US Government is threatening scientists with jail if they tell the truth about weather, and while the media still claim there's "controversy", over 40% of Americans know that something needs to be done. The American people have the will to do something. Government and corporations are doing their best to stop us, and still the good guys are going strong. I hope News Trust stops printing these silly little comments. Really, please, no more "it was cold yesterday, so global warming is fake." "Americans are to weak and stupid to ride the bus." I'll have to find a better blog provider.
