China will have to work on a consistent integration policy regarding its many ethnic minorities. China's policy should not aim mainly at securing state control, but it should guarantee cultural and social rights to the many peoples living in the different parts of its territory - in an effort to preserve as much of the original diversity as is seen as possible.
