This is a timely article that describes an important issue. Rindels provides interesting facts about Nevada lawmakers stopping discussions on school closures and mergers and how the Nevada System of Higher Education put the cuts back onto the table. The story includes quotes from Sen. Steven Horsford himself, Chanceloor Dan Klaich and Chairman Roger Leavitt. The author also provides a ratio: "Regents voted 8-5", to explain that this was the number to stop discussing the closures and mergers. The article overall provided good background information and is credible. It was well written and very clear and concise.

I trust this article and found it very interesting. This article was enterprising to me. Significant resources were involved by getting quotes directly from those involved. The public benefits from reading this story because it was timely and responsible.
